EQUATE (wal mart brand) pregnacy tests have been tried & true by myself and many of my friends. i recommend them over the more expensive ones because they detect the lowest amount of the hormone, therefore you'll be able to know sooner.

the EPT test is pretty good and reliable, it can tell you up to five days before your missed period, however, as others have said the chances of you getting a more accurate result would be for you to wait until the time of your missed period. You can find the test at any supermarket, walmart, target, any kind of store like that. and i think the test is about $20.

I would reccommend ClearBlue Digital pregnancy tests, available from most pharmacies and supermarkets. You can use it to test up to 4 days before your period is due but it is best to test once you have missed a period for a more accurate result.

the first day of your missed period, any test is good but if you leave it a few days after your missed period you will get a better reading, i spoke to a dr once who said they cant sell a test that gives two many false negatives, and they cannot give a false positive at allHealth Question & Answer
