Personally, my local Planned Parenthood is USELESS!
I went in there when I was pregnant. I had heavy bleeding and intense miscarriage symptoms.
They refused to believe I was pregnant and told me that everything that was happening to me was caused by wearing a pad....I'm serious. They ACTUALLY told me that. I hadn't even been wearing a pad until all that started happening, and how the hell is attaching a piece of napkin to your underwear causing heavy bleeding, constant nausea, intense pains, etc
I lost my baby, of course. If their OBGYNs weren't such idiots, I wouldn't have.
The paper work is also, yes, very invasive.
I avoid Planned Parenthood at all costs... Health Question & Answer

There's a lot more paperwork.
I had a OBGYN (who was my doctor when I was pregnant and helped deliver my child - excellent doctor!) but when I lost my insurance I went Planned Parenthood. There was paperwork asking everything about my sexual activities. How many partners I have had sex with. How often I have sex. How often I use a condom. Literally everything. And while I feel like you should be honest your OBGYN - and luckily for me I've only had 1 partner - my baby's father. Filling it out on paper is just kinda embarassing. I'd rather just talk to my doctor about all that.Health Question & Answer
