I did have some pain the other day but only when my boyfriend and I were having sex. It wasn't until he got about an inch and half in before it hurt. Could this have anything to do with anything.? I woke up like four times last night to pee and I have to pee just about every hour or two.Health Question & Answer

there are 3 levels of a bladder infection:
-Bladder Infection (just in bladder)
-UTI (urinary tract infection) (really high up in bladder)
-Kidney Infection (worst--in kidneys and harder to get rid of)
your symptoms sound exactly like a urinary tract infection. go to the dr asap or else it can turn to a kidney infection. they'll give u antibiotics to get rid of the infection and something for the pain (they might turn ur pee bright orange depending on what kind). you can get it from having too much sex, because, this is gunna sound weird, ur pee hole is right by ur vag and can get irritated during sex, depending on the frequency and position. also-you should pee before and after sex (no more than 15 minutes after if possible) to clean out ur bladder so things don't get pushed into it. definitely get it checked before it becomes more serious! good luck and definitely good luck with the pain (they usually hurt like a ******!)Health Question & Answer

You never hold urine in your vagina, it is held in your bladder and comes out of your urethra ( an entirely seperate hole).
It sounds like you could have a UTI (urinary tract infection). You will need to go to the doctor to get antibiotics. To prevent urinary tract infections, make sure you drink plenty of fluids, wear cotton underwear, wipe yourself from front to back, and pee after having sex. its a urinary tract infection. you get them becuase you should pee after sex to clean your area out. go to any grocery store and go to the women section. it should be by the pads, tampons and vaginal cream. buy yourself some pills to help take the pain away, (they will be labeled for urinary tract infections and theyre not expensive) and stop you from having to pee so much. they help A LOT but be aware that your pee will be orange :p and then go to the doctor because those pills are just for the pain not the infection. drink cranberry juice. good luck!Health Question & Answer
