Help on stopping my period for 4-6 hours?!

Question: Help on stopping my period for 4-6 hours.?

I have my period and it is very light right now but I would like to stop it completely or at least mostly for about 4-6 hours for a dance...in case something comes up you know. I put the nuvaring in today, which probably won't help much.

Are there any good techniques for stopping or slowing the period temporarily.? I can't go to the doctor right now for any pills or shots or anything like that. Just home remedies or whatever.

i was told that take 2 dose of yasmin could stop it for a day but i have never tried it and i dont believe that its even possible. its best to just let it flow am sure whatever you are planing to do tonight can waitHealth Question & Answer

um, i dont think theres much else you can do except use a tampon. that shouldnt cause any problem, right.?
