Third Gardasil Injection: One Year Later?!

Okay, about a year ago I got my first two injections of the vaccine Gardasil. I never made it to the appointment for my third one, due to some insurance issues I had. I know the vaccine is supposed be given over a period of six months to get the full benefits from it, so I was wondering if it is too late/possible/worth it to make an appointment to get my third injection now, when it's been a full year since I got the first two.? I looked on the official site for the vaccine, but the answer they gave wasn't very helpful. I wanted to try to find out before I talk to my doctor about it.
