I can't seem to talk to girls like really not kidding do I have a problem you see there was this girl 3 years ?!

Ok so I am a Cute guy like a 8 but I just can't seem to ask a girl out I have trouble with it and when a girl flirts with me which is like every day I try to stare away and can't talk to them I know I'm shy but Once there was this girl in 6 grade I am in the 10th grade I used to flirt have fun with each other huge play in the swings then around the 7th grade we just stopped talking she got popular and I was just normal and she is still popular and I know she still has a feeling for me but she thinks it will ruin her reputation she is a nice girl but her friends changed her allot is that the reason I just can't talk to girls anymore.? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
