If you haven't been having your period for more than 5 years, it could be that it's still regulating itself. It could also be because you had or have an eating disorder.
if it's none of these check out your GP and see what they say :)

you can get your period up to 7 days you might get it for 5 but it could not come one day then come the next so dont think its over the first time you dont see blood keep the tampon in and keep changin it for a week. and if you just got it and your new at this period thing then its probly still regulatinHealth Question & Answer
If your period is not normal, you should probably visit a doctor.
It may be awkward talking to a doctor, but there could be a serious problem and it's best to find out sooner than later.

huh>.?.? that doesn't sound normal at all...well if the days when it comes for a day, it's just a lil' bit that could b considered spotting , then it's fine but if it's a lot, u need to get it checked outHealth Question & Answer
you need to give a little more info.......like at what stage in the month is your 2nd & 3rd bleed......have you only started having periods etc. im sorry i cant help much,all i can say is it doesnt happen to me.........good luck,best to check with your doctorHealth Question & Answer
Mine only comes once a month. Have you just started you period.? If so then I think that's normal but if you had it for along time and it started doing that then go to a doctor.Health Question & Answer
