Question: Is it normal to faint multiple times during period.?
I have very intense cramps during my menstrual cycle. I have fainted 5 or 6 times. One time i was in my bathroom sitting down and i fainted and fell face down on the tile floor. Although i was unconscious i was very aware that i was convulsing on the floor (like a seizure) I ended up chipping 3 of my teeth and bruised my face.Right before i faint i get really nauseous and then i just go. Anyways i was wondering if this is normal, especially the most recent one i just told you about. Health Question & Answer

This used to happen to me a lot when I was 17. My doctor told me it was low iron levels and stress (yes an extremely stressed 17 yr old - living out of home, working part time while going through grade 12).
I would see a doctor and also have a look at your diet - make sure you're drinking plenty of water, take multivitamins and have a really balanced diet especially during your period.
I would not think the most recent one was normal - when it happened to me I apparently was just still.Health Question & Answer
