Answers:
There are several tests they can do. Most common is the Triple screen where they test your blood and can give you a risk level for certain birth anomalies. They can also do a Nuchal Translucency test where they do an ultrasound and do some measurements. The measurement combined with blood work can also give you a risk level. If you happen to be at risk for any anomalies, there's a big possibility that nothing is wrong. The only way to know exactly what's going on with your baby is an amnioscentesis. I wouldn't reccomend getting one unless there is a substantial reason for further investigation.Health Question & Answer
