Should I ask for a biopsy?!

Question: Should I ask for a biopsy.?
I posted a question earlier but no one is answering it so I will rephrase it a little. I am 19, found lump in right breast a little over a month ago, it is long (3 inches) and irregular shaped. Hasnt changed since then. Doctor ordered Mammogram and Ultrasound, said both picked up nothing. Said it was thickened breast tissue changing with hormones...if this is true shouldnt it have changed by now.? And what hormones, I don't get regular periods due to my PCOS, infact I very rarely get one even if I am on birth control which I am not right now. I am a little confused and doubtful and need some answers while looking for a doctor in this town who is actually taking new patients. When I find one should I ask for a biopsy.? Any answers/comments are appreciated especially from someone with some experience or knowledge of this kind of thing. ThanksHealth Question & Answer

If you are still concerned then yes. You don't want to take any chances do you.? I would try another doctor and if they say the same thing then just ask them to tell you a little more about it because you are confused or something! Hope all goes well!Health Question & Answer

If you are worried, get a second opinion, or a third if necessary. Hope it's nothing serious.Health Question & Answer
