No. the danger from ovarian cysts is that they can cause torsion (twisting) of your fallopian tubes, which cuts off blood supply and could cause infection/ long term damage. Generally, theses cysts burst on their own which causes a LOT of pain, but no damage. You should have it checked on by your ObGyn, however.Health Question & Answer
