Question: Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo weird bleeding.?.?.? Is it bad for me.?
I have been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (the pill) for 11 days now (light blue) and I am bleeding. I haven't missed any of my pills and it's not at all time for my period so what's going on.?
If it is normal.. is it healthy.? I don't want to keep taking them if it's causing me harm.

Since you're on the low estrogen dose, it may not regulate as quickly. If it contiunes after your next cycle, I would call the doc. I doubt it's actually harming you. Your body is just a little confused because it's getting extra stuff in it. Just give it a little time to figure itself out. If it continues to worry you, definitely call the doctor. it's really normal to have breakthrough bleeding and spotting when you are on the pill especially when you just start. usually, it stops in 3 months or so. if it is really heavy or you have really bad cramping, i would contact your doctor, but other than that, it sounds normal to me.Health Question & Answer
