Period, irregular or not? B.C?!

Question: Period, irregular or not.? B.C.?
ok, i got my period when i was eleven, but i dont remember ever getting it 28 days later. its ALWAYS LATE. only about once or twice i have gotten my period on its due date. im 14 now and its still been like this. it mite be weeks till my period comes, or just a few days to a week. also most of the time i get pms a day before or the day a few hours before i get my period so i kinda know when i might get it. I also get discharge every day and when it gets near my period it gets really bad(sometimes i dont know if its my period or discharge when im in class at school!!). i wear a thin pad every day starting two days before im SUPOSSED to get my period. also its practically like im on my period because the discharge is so bad. so would this be counted as irregular periods or not.? also i know that most birth control helps regulate periods, should i get that because i cant stand not knowing when im gonna get my period. im not sexually active and wont be 4 awhile so i would only use BC for that. so my main questions are, is my period irregular.? should i get BC for it or am i still kinda young for it.? also is there anything i can do for the discharge.?!Health Question & Answer

BC is a good idea it will def help you regulate.

As far as the discharge its just your hormones it'll eventually die downHealth Question & Answer

My cousin has been taking birth control pills for that reason, or something like that. She's been using them since she was fifteen or sixteen. Try it to see if it helps.Health Question & Answer

Almost no woman has a perfect 28 day cycle. If your period is always late, it's probably because your cycle is longer than 28 days. Check out your calendar and see if your periods come every 32 days or every 37 days - find out what your magic number is. If you are always irregular, B vitamins can help both regulate your periods and lessen PMS. If you don't want to resort to b.c. you can check out some less serious approaches to regulating your periods - diet changes, vitamin supplements, etc. Unless your cycle is totally unpredictable, you probably don't need b.c. For severe PMS or extremely irregular periods that are a big problem, b.c. can be a great solution, but heavy discharge isn't necessarily a problem, just something some unlucky women experience. If it bothers you try talking to a doctor about it.Health Question & Answer
