Question: 38 weeks along..... has anyone felt this before.?
This maybe too much info.... but I'm 38 weeks today and when I go pee it feels different than it did before kinda feels like something else is opening up to like a different porthole or something, could this mean I'm dilated, can you feel when you've dilated.?

no u should not be able to feel when u r dilated. u can only know that by having your cervix checked by the doctor. i am not really to sure what u r feeling maybe just alot of pressure on your pelvis from the baby's head, is my guess. just to be safe call your doctor and they should have an oncall nurse who should be able to ansewer your question. when ever a woman is this far along and she has questions like these u should really ask your doctor just to be sure,ok. i had 3 kids and anytime i was not sure what was going on i always asked my doc or his nurse. git out the phone and make a call.Health Question & Answer
