so i took some antibiotics last week and now i'm having some vaginal itching. normal stuff you know. so i bought some vagisil for "fast relief" and felt like i was applying battery acid to my she-she! what the HELL is THAT.? what do you recommend for relief.?Health Question & Answer

You have a yeast infection becasue all the good bacteria which normally controls the yeast has been killed off by the antibiotics. Yeast infections can mean that it's very irritated down there - you'll want to get some monistat, or something like that. I always ask for a prescription for treating a yeast infection too whenever I am prescribed antibiotics, as I always get one that way.Health Question & Answer
If you read the pamphlet it does say you should feel some discomfort. This tends to mean burning. I have used monistat and I know that burned until the infection went away.Health Question & Answer
