This is a recurring problem...?!

Question: This is a recurring problem....?
My husband and I have had a sexless marriage for 6 months or so. We had sex last week and this week my uh, private parts, are swollen, burning and itching like crazy. I've done 2 rounds of yeast treatment with no relief, so I am fairly certain I do not have a yeast infection.

My husband has no sex drive. I have little to no concern that he is having an affair. Frankly, I don't think he has the balls to have an affair, but I suppose I could be wrong.

When I said something to him about my problem, he said he guessed it was a cleanliness issue on his part and apologized. This would not be the first time he has had sex with me and I have had this type of problem. The last two times it happened, years ago, he told me he had not been very clean when we had sex.

Oh please! What the hell is wrong with this man.? I mean, if you are not going to take care of your personal hygiene day in and day out, at least have the decency to do something about it when you plan to have sex! I would rather he excused himself to take a shower than deal with this.

Does anyone have any idea of what this could be other than an STD.?

Answers:
it could just be a fungal infection...
second, you should really go see a doctor!
and third, you should really talk to your husband, I'm not sure of your situation and such ( we all have our own ) ... a sexless marriage for one doesn't sound like too much fun, and living with someone who doesn't take care of their hygiene, especially when it affects your health is not fair to you!
good luck to you!Health Question & Answer

Sounds to me like you don't have any respect for your husband.

You say he doesn't have any balls, you call him "this man" and sounds like you have a problem with his personal hygiene.

I wouldn't sleep with someone who spoke about me like that either!

You have nothing to worry about!

It's not an STD or yeast problem. I've had the same before. I get it when i use condoms (latex or non latex) it's because you haven't had sex in so long that your body is getting used to it again. I had it more when i broke my virginity but now i get it if me and my boyfriend havent done it in a few weeks (i have IBS so the stomach problems get in the way alot) I also get it if im stressing alot aswell. I can't suggest a proper reason for it happening but i get the same and its nothing to worry about.

I don't use condoms anymore because i thought they were the reason but i've still had it without condoms. I don't think it's to do with your husbands higyene either because my boyfriend is very clean and i still get it.

I understand how painfull it is, when i get it im in tears! to sooth it put an icepack on it or something. Hope i've kind of helped. xHealth Question & Answer
