Does it have a white head, like a facial zit.? If so, that's probably what it is.

Its probably an ingrown hair, don't worry too much. Try to leave it alone or it can really hurt! Sometimes doctor's offices have a nurse on call that you can ask--embarrassing, but I had one once too and they said that they won't do anything about it, it just will go away on its own. You can put over the counter stuff like vagisil or vaseline on it and that might help, but try to wear loose clothing and leave it alone or it will get bigger!
