Pee is perfectly sterile, and is healthy. They actually recommend you to do it on a wound if you receive a wound out in the forest, and you don't have any antiseptic creams or towelettes with you, since it protects you.Health Question & Answer

First of pee is sterile. Second of all, what are you worried about getting into your blood stream, diabetes is not contagious or blood related. Thirdly...wouldn't you rather wear shoes in the house anyways if there is pee on the floor.? Just stick a band aid or something on your foot and watch out for pee I guess.Health Question & Answer

You can't get diabetes from a diabetics pee getting into your bloodstream. Sounds like your grandma needs extra help! You should research the disease and learn more about what she is going through. Health Question & Answer

pee is clean its not going to cause you to get an infection or anything secondly diabetes isn't contagious . if shes peeing on the floor i would say yeah start wearing shoes around the hosue so you dont step on it anymoreHealth Question & Answer
