I just got my peorid today and im starting to get really scard becuase now ever time i go to the bath room and whip/look at my pad theres blood im afraid that one moring im going to wake up in a puddle of blood someone pleas help me Health Question & Answer

Periods can be 3 to 10 days, usually about 5. Once you've had a few periods you will get used to your cycle, and if you are lucky, it will be very regular making it easier to know what to expect when.
Don't worry about the blood, it'll be there constantly until your period ends. If you always have a lot of blood and cramping, see your doctor. When I first started having my periods they were 7 days and heavy enough that i had to stay out of school once because I bled all over my pants in less than one class period. Over time they got longer and heavier until they were 10 days and severe with cramping. I started taking birth control pills to control them and now they are 3 days long and very light. Even when they were heavy and awful I knew exactly what day to expect them, and which days would be the heaviest. ok don't worry. most people get it 5-7 days. then it stops next month it will come Again. keep track of days so it wont surprise you. but since you just started it will bee irregular. when you get around your 50s 60s it will just stop.Health Question & Answer
ur period usaually happens for 7 days than u have 28 days with out it starting up agian but after that 28 days it will start up again and last normal 7 days and so on

It depends some people have short last periods which could last only 3-4 days and some could last 7-8 days i wouldnt worry so much especially if your cycle is not regular yetHealth Question & Answer
