Question: Why have I lost my appetite.?
I haven't been eating properly for weeks. I've lost ten pounds, easily. I'm not trying to starve myself, but even the sight of most foods I love make my stomache turn. :( I recently found out that my medication ( Ritilan for ADHD ) makes me lose my apetite. But, GOD I can go days without anything. I only drink hot liquids. What could this be.?Health Question & Answer

Some meds cause anorexia...not the "i want to be skinny like the olsen twins" anorexia, but actual anorexia. Be careful because the longer you go without eating, the easier it is to forego food.

it could be the Ritalin, your body is probably adjusting to it. or it could be a phase, i go through phases where i cant eat and i never get hungry and then it passes. but since it's lasted so long i doubt its a phase. see your doctor about maybe changing medication or something. good luck xHealth Question & Answer
