This is annoying...I'm peeing out of my vagina?!

Question: This is annoying...I'm peeing out of my vagina.?
I got over a UTI a month ago but had painful urination return 2 days after I was finished with the antibiotics. My doctor did a urinalysis on me and it came up negative. I went to another doctor for a second opinion. At that office, they did some blood work and did a pelvic exam as well. Turns out, those results came up negative as well. I don't have any urgency, frequency, or nocturia. I also notice two streams coming out, and it looks like the second stream is coming out of my vagina, but I don't know (and NO, it's NOT discharge). Now I've been referred to a urologist and will visit with him next month. The second doc I went to me that I may just have a short urethra, but she isn't sure. I am soooo scared! What could it be.?

I'm only 20 years old and no, I'm not sexually active.Health Question & Answer

It could indeed be a very short urethra. When you are peeing, is the urethra "exposed", cause if not, it (your urine) could be kind of running down the labia and appear to be coming from inside the vagina when it's actually just dripping off the outside ( I know it's all kinda gross sounding, but just trying to help ) . I would definitely be going to a doctor though and maybe get several opinions. good luck!Health Question & Answer

If you do in fact have a shorter urethra try pulling the skin back a little, I know it sounds weird and all but some what like what an uncut guy has to do. You will be better to see for sure if it is from the vagina or the urethra. Could you have a hair that is slightly over the whole to which causes it to split. try to wipe from front to rear with those female wipes after each time you pee. Next month you wil be seeing a urologist if those things don't work may he/she can figure it out. Often times after the use of antibiotics many women get UTI. Best of luck hope all gets better.Health Question & Answer
