Periods' weird because of gymnastics?!

Question: Periods' weird because of gymnastics.?
I think my period cycle might be a little messed up from gymnastics... I'm not sure though!

My period started last Sunday and I was bleeding pretty much till then. Then I checked my pad after 3 hours of gymnastics and there was nothing but a bit a urine there.

So I nothing came out until today during class in the middle of the day (Friday). I felt it coming out so I went to the bathroom and used tissues.

It was bleeding a little less but still a bit before I went to gymnastics. Its the same thing again. No blood, just urine.

Is this normal or is it just in my head.?
Im thirteen by the way.Health Question & Answer

If this is only your first year having period, then it is quite normal to have irregular periods. As for gymnastics, i dun think it is much of an impact on your period. It may just be that due to gymnastics, the blood is kinda "forced" in and is not able to come out.? I am not sure but i can say that it is pretty unlikely that doing gymnastics will affect your period cycle. If you are very concerned with this, you can ask your mom and also see if she thinks you should go see a gynea.Health Question & Answer

Because you're in gymnastics, it screws up your period cycle. It's because of all the physical activity you're putting in, which takes it's toll on your body, by usually delaying your period. It's nornal if you're irregular for the first couple years of your period (at least it was for me), but talk to your doctor if you're concerned, or your mom. Health Question & Answer

My daughter is 6 and I was looking into getting her into gymnastics..... That actually was a side effect when I was researching, also it said a stunt in body growth,, you get strong, but not any taller. It's because your body is being pushed to certain limits and it can't keep up right. If you go on birth-control pills it can control that normality. Health Question & Answer

not in your head. this things happen. if it gets so irregular over a few months, then see your doc. meanwhile, have 1 pantyliner or pad in your bag always. i do. well, not always, but most times.just in case.....Health Question & Answer
