Does losing your virginity delay your period?!
Question: Does losing your virginity delay your period.?
Well this question has been asked but id like someone to give me their opinion, can a girl postpone her period unintentionally by worrying to much if she are pregnant.? or by losing their virginity within the menstrual cycle, this is unfortunately my case i used a condom with my girlfriend, i have been really careful, it never slipped, i know that all of the condoms i have used never broke, and i even check them, it only has been two days since she is late, but i worry a lot.Health Question & Answer

No it doesn't... Stress might delay it but virginity doesn't affect our periods.
Two days is nothing... And if she's under 20, even a month isn't necessarily anything to worry about.
Best advice though, keep using a condom and if she is a worrywart (or if you are), get on the pill.Health Question & Answer

Worry on the woman's part CAN delay menses. This is not to say however that pregnancy cannot and does not happen with even "perfect" use of condoms. In a laboratory environment, condoms are only 90% effective...in other words, even in a clinical setting, they still fail one time out of every 10 uses. In real life, condoms are -- at best -- only about 85% effective...or they fail about 15% of the time.
If she is late...and I mean really late (because women can have a level of variance in their cycles), the first thing she should do is take a home pregnancy test. Take another one in 48 hours to 72 hours, and then make an appointment with her doctor for a blood test follow-up.Health Question & Answer
