I've heard of using garlic but never tired it. The site I read said to insert one every couple of hours. As in change it. Take garlic tablets and/or cook with a lot of garlic also. The site does not say how many days it takes for it to work.

I don't have a yeast infection but my vagina itches sometimes when I have my period or after intercourse. I use vagisil, it doesn't cost much and you only need a little bit on your fingertip and just rub it on the outside of your vagina and it will give you relief for hours. You will have to apply it 3 times a day though. Garlic might cause irritation but I'm not sure on that. You might want to see a doctor to be sure.

I would suggest buying some Monistat 3 or 5 day treatment. You will have more problems on your hands if that garlic gets stuck up there where you can't reach it and have to have a Dr remove it. Health Question & Answer
GARLIC!! I never heard that before. Try eating some plain yogurt instead, you can also insert some into your vagina. Yogurt is a normal bacteria that fights yeast infections. Health Question & Answer
