I have discharge and yellow stain in my pantie and i am 12 does it mean i am getting my period?!

well im 12 too and i do the same thing my friend is 13 and she read an article that the discharge is fine your giong to have discharge untill you have your period and the discharge is supposed to be either white or yellow so yellow is fine and on some days the discharge is like really really thick and some days you barly have its so annoying but we will have to deal with itHealth Question & Answer

The discharge is completely normal. Typically, it is clear or white in color, but can also be a yellowish color. It does not neccesarily mean that this is your period. If it were your period, it would likely be brown in color and may be accompanied by cramping or headache. If you have never been sexually active, it is likely nothing at all to be concerned about and actually something that you can expect now that you are developing into a young women. It is very likely that you may soon begin to get your periods in the near future. I would suggest sitting down with a parent to discuss this.
