Yea. As long as you take it correctly ( at the same time everyday and you are not on antibiotics). The pill is effective in preventing pregnancy but not STD's. So make sure both of you are clean before doing so. I have been on the pill for almost 2 yrs. and it has been effective for my bf and I. Hope this helps.Health Question & Answer
