Okay today is mi 3rd day of wearing tampons and this morning I put one in and 4 hours later I went to take it out and it wasnt there I felt up there and it was gone!!!!!! sick or dizzy there is a very small risk that you will have tss ( note the sick and dizzy may be from worrying)
but your not going to die
also it is impossible for the tampon to get lost inside you chances are that it has fallen out or you have sat on the cord on the toilet and pulled it out with out realising dont worry if i was you i would call the out of hours g.p unit at your local hospital the number should be on the answering machine of your doctors dont worry hunni it can not in any way get lost your not going to die hunni your fine just wear a pad for the rest of this period and then begin again useing tampons like normal next time if you feel your ready again xxHealth Question & Answer

First, relax. I accidentally left a tampon in for 10 days. It finally came out on its own. I called my doc and she wasn't very worried at all.
Chances are you did not put in a tampon - you just think you did. The reason I say that is because there are not that many places that it can go. It cannot get through your cervix into your uterus so if you can't find it, it probably isn't there. But, if it is, it will eventually come back within reach. RELAX. It could have been put up further. I would try to look for it by using a mirror and flashlight. If you cannot get it out, you need to get yourself to the hospital, and have them get it out for you. Those are basically your two options to make sure that you will not have any problems like toxic shock syndrome.Health Question & Answer
If you really think it's still in there you need to go to the emergency room, they can get it out for you. They won't laugh at you or anything, I used to work in the emergency room and we had girls come in with this problem.Health Question & Answer
