Question: What Tampon Should I Use.?
I'm 14 years old and have started wearing tampons. I have used a tampax regular a few times and it was really sore taking it out so I think I need a smaller one. Can anyone reccomend a type I should be using.?

Slender form or one that says it's specifically designed for teens. As for the applicator, a plastic one with a rounded tip may be the most comfortable.

Tampons shouldn't make you sore. Have you been to a gynecologist.? I would recommend having your mom take you to see a OB/GYN for a check-up. Having said that.. Tampax makes a slender version of the tampon. Try that one.Health Question & Answer
Well, teens typically do best with plastic applicators and the size called slimfits or juniors.

if its hurting coming out then you may have a septate hymen (google it) its really common in girls so dont worry about it but you may want to go and see a doctor.Health Question & Answer
