Planned Parenthood is a great place to start. They usually have you fill out some papers about sexual history and stuff like that. If you have had many sexual partners they would probably want to do an exam but it's not mandatory, just recommended. They do every kind of birth control: the pill, IUD, the ring, the patch, depo (the shot) and probably some more I'm just not aware of. They except insurances also but are relatively cheap compared to other places.Health Question & Answer

Planned Parenthood offers low cost or free birth control. You can get pills, the patch, or Nuvaring (I recommend it!).

You go in and say, "I want birth control!"
They say, "Fill this out!" (you then say "OK!")

Then you go for an appointment to for a pelvic exam and pap smear. If all's good, then you get your prescription and go to a pharmacy.

Nuvaring is normally $50 for a 3 month supply.Health Question & Answer

You can get whatever the doctor wants to give you. The exam is just the same. Breast, vaginal, and pap smear. Cost depends on the place and your income usually. They'll ask the usual health questions, like when your last period was and if you are sexually active.Health Question & Answer
