Should i be very worried?!

Question: Should i be very worried.?
Well I sort of feel awkward asking this question but I'm 13 and I've started my period at the beginning of the year and it was going well but instead of having it monthly like most girls i get it every 2 months or 3 I've visited the doctor once and they said it's natural to not have your period in 3 months.?. I'm not sure but i think it's been either 4 or 5 months since i've had my last period should i be worrying, i've lost count but it's been a while and im 100% sure i'm not pregnant my friends keep telling me to check the doctors if Iam but i swear i'm not. I must admit i don't exercise a lot or always eat healthy but i do eat a lot of iron, fruits and vegetables. and i do lack quite a lot of sleep could this be the reason why i haven't had my period yet.?Health Question & Answer

Unless you are really athletic and have a super low body fat percentage, it's probably late because you are 13. With age it should settle out into a monthly thing, but right now it is normal for it to be very irregular.

I would not worry about seeing the doctor unless you get to be 14 or 15 and it has not come back.Health Question & Answer

Are you sexually active.? If you are.. theres always the chance you are pregnant. If not.. then no need to worry. If you have seen a Dr about it and they say you are fine.. you probably are. Your still young.. it could take a while for your periods to get on a regular cycle.Health Question & Answer
