Help with Period Problems?!

Question: Help with Period Problems.?
Ok i have a lot of problems before and during my period. My period will follow a pattern for a couple months and then it will change. Then like a week before i start i get extremely tired, almost exhausted. I break out horribly and not like a few zits on my face but a lot of zits on my face arms and back. My skin dries out and my entire body itches. also before it starts i usually get at least one migraine that lasts longer then 24 hours. These migraines are horrible, extreme sensitivity to light and sound. The first day of my period include painful cramps, bad, curl up in a ball with a heating pad bad. Both cramps and Migraines don't stop or reduce at all when i take ibuprofen or Tylenol. What can i do to reduce or stop this madness.? Health Question & Answer

First of all i think that you should talk to your doctor about this since what you are describing is pretty common in women. They may prescribe the birth control pill to see if it helps to regulate you and lessen cramps, acne, and migraines. That is why i first went on the pill and many others do as well just for this reason. But only a doctor can tell you which one if any is right for you.Health Question & Answer

You need to see a doctor. This doesn't sound like your typical period problems. Unfortunately, I can't diagnose you via the net but you consider using a symptom checker (I'm including a link below), to look at a few possibilities that you can ask your doctor about. Read up on various disorders and be informed so you can communicate clearly with your doctor when you visit him/her!

I hope this helps! :-)

what you can do to reduce zits and skin problems is eat healthy foods cut back on Chocolate and bad processed foods you can still have them but not to much of them. Now to relive cramps the best thing to do without drugging ur self on pain killers is release it through masturbationn. you may not want to do this as you may feel uncomfortable but that is the best way ot release crampsHealth Question & Answer

You could go on the pill for the pain and pms.

For the cramps take Ponstan 3 days before your period. It still works if you don't get your period after the third day. It stops that first day pain. I used to get really severe period pain, but Ponstan stopped that.

Try not to have too much sodium. Drink a lot of water. Herbs are good for menstraul pain. But you need to be taking these a week before your period.
Just eat healthy, really healthy a week or two before your period. Alcohol makes period pain worse and so does stress.

For the skin use a moisturiser. Sorbolene cream is pretty harmless.
Not sure what to do about the zits.

I think your best bet would be to go on the pill to reduce your pms.Health Question & Answer

Go see your doctor and describe these symptoms. Having a period can be the worst time. And it can really mess around with your body. I used to have the most horrid cramps and breakouts. My doctor suggested to go on the Pill. I was only 14 at the time and was not very happy with the diagnosis. However, when I started taking the pill when I was 18, the difference was amazing! And the new on they have out now, Yasmin, is great. It reduces my cramps and i have no breakouts at all. It could be just what your looking for.Health Question & Answer
