Because they are growing up, and maybe they are proud. I agree with you, it is a natural thing ....I don't know why they would need praise...It's like congraulating someone for going to the bathroom...Health Question & Answer
That's because when you first get your period, it can be very painful and annoying and having someone turn it into a positive thing can really help. I know it did for me. Health Question & Answer
