Question: Using garlic for my yeast infection, help.?
Two nights now I been shoving garlic up my vagina to treat my yeast infection,my vagina barley itch now but still continue to use the garlic until it's gone completely. I notice that whenever I insert the garlic up my vagina,couple minutes after I have lot of discharge:yellowish,lumpy and yea smell like garlic. Is this okay.? is it how it works when getting rid of my yeast infection.? please don't say to go to the doctor!Health Question & Answer

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SHOVE GARLIC UP YOUR VAGINA.
I don't care what anyone on the internet says. Shoving random supermarket products up there is not the best idea.
Go to the store, and buy MONISTAT. You can get it in a one dose pill and be done with it, instead of shoving garlic up your vag, and having it leak disgusting yellow lumpy smelly discharge which most likely ISN'T TOO GOOD FOR YOU.
Stop taking stupid peoples advice for curing infections, and you need to hear it, GO TO THE DOCTOR. They are there to help you!

Fresh garlic in contact with mucous membranes is a dangerous thing. Cut it in two or crush it and you are really asking for big trouble. Garlic is strong stuff. It will "burn" the mucous membrane of your vagina and leave sores which never really heal properly.
I have had clients who did that and regretted it ever after. Same thing with people who put half a clove of garlic up their nostrils to ward off a cold: they get sores inside their nose which never heal properly for the rest of their lives.

That sounds like what would happen if you shoved garlic up there. I don't know how good putting garlic in your vagina is for you, but just so you know, there are yeast infection creams and suppositories that you can buy in any drug store. I would try using those.Health Question & Answer
