Question: If my thyroid levels are fine, why do I have a goiter.?
It's four times the size it should be...?.? Any ideas anyone.?.?Health Question & Answer

It could be an iodine deficiency, I have the same problem and started taking a potassium iodine supplement and it shrank my neck down some. I would ask my doctor before I tried anything however since I'm not one and I don't know if this is what you need or not.Health Question & Answer

My mom has one also and her thyroid levels are fine also. She has gotten tons of tests done and her doctor said it looks like a bunch of blood just sitting there. They're just going to go in and take it out. You should probably get checked at a throat doctor because they will be able to give you tests and tell you exactly what it is.
