When applying for health insurance....?!

Question: When applying for health insurance.....?
And one of the questions it asks it says...Questions for Female Applicants and Dependents Only: Fibroid or uterine tumor; ovarian cyst; endometriosis; cystocele/rectocele; abnormal pap smear; infertility; sexually transmitted disease; genital warts; herpes; or any other disease or disorder of the genital or reproductive system.? And if I was to say yes to this would it deny me the insurance.? I did have an abnormal pap smear and now I have to go the the ob/gyn every 3-4 months to make sure I dont get cervical cancer...Health Question & Answer

Answers:
I would answer no at this point. Although, I wouldn't think they would deny you since an abnormal pap smear is pretty common.
I've had endometriosis, 5 ovarian cysts, abnormal pap smears, a fibroid tumor, and was told for 8 yrs. I couldn't have kids (I suprisingly got prenant 11 months ago!) and I don't get denied for new insurance, but every company is different and there is always fine print.
Good luck, its hard getting good insurance nowadays.Health Question & Answer

answer "no." if you weren't officially diagnosed with any of the above and you haven't had an abnormal pap since your first one, answer "no." there could be many reasons for an abnormal pap.

keep in mind that your new insurance will probably only pay for 1 pap a year.Health Question & Answer
