You HAVE to catch them early. I have to stay dosed up on ibuprofen and tylenol for a week during mine. Try a warm/hot bath, heating pad, pulling your knees into your chest and even rocking yourself. I have cramps so bad I usually take two days off and go into hiding. My best trick is (I can do this in Canada) go to your pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for ASA with 8mg Codiene, This drug combo is available to you over the counter but you have to ask for it they dont just stock it on the shelf. I had terrible cramps i almost fainted!. And i felt terrible. But i tried Feminax which is paracetamol and codeine, can be taken at any age over 12 and it helped so much. Haha sounds like and advert doesn't it. But yes try them they really do make a difference. You can get them in your local pharmacist, if these make no difference, maybe see your GP. Advil or Aleve and out your feet up and put a hot pack on your stomach. Eating lots of vitamins, things with B6 and magnesium in it also helps cramps. Stay away from sugar, chocolate and caffeine...all the things you may be craving! Good luck!Health Question & Answer

Lay in bed, take tylenol or some other pain reliever. Put a heating pad on your stomach and get into the fetal postition.
