okay here's the deal.
three weeks ago, i went to the doctor. i was having
-whitish, yellowish discharge
-VERY BAD ODOR; itching!
-& sore and irritated around the outside of my vagina.
my doctor told me i had Bacterial Vaginosis and Yeast Infection.
he prescribed me Gynazone 1 and Flagyl to treat these.
All my symptoms completly went away. a week later, me and my
boyfriend (of 2 years) had sex again and everything came back.
i didnt know that men could get these infections.?.?.?
my doctor gave me medicine for these again that i started takin
today, but when i sleep with him again ill get the infection right back
again... so what does he have to take to get rid of BV and yeast infection w/o going to a doctor.?.?

Your BF needs to go see HIS doctor asap. If you dont use condoms when you are developing a yeast infection and have sex with a man with no condom YOU pass the infection onto his penis!
Then you can keep reinfecting yourself with your own original infection everytime you have sex.

He can treat the yeast infection by applying topical cream like monistat, etc, to his bits. But the bacterial vaginosis is something treated with antibiotics, and if he is carrying it somehow then he will need antibiotics too.
I might recommend that you not have sex until it seems all cleared up - and I mean give it a couple of weeks. also eat some yogurt, it will help put healthy flora back in your vagina. Health Question & Answer

Have him wash down there, he may want to shave...tell him it will grow back quickly. And try an over the counter med like vagisil or something. If you want I would recommend shaving there too for you.Health Question & Answer
