I'm 20 and i was active throughout elementary and high school i played softball and volleyball i know your pain but there is no way to get rid of it permanently but what you can do is take birth control it reduces your period if your young and your parents are strict the next best way to go is tampons during the day with a liner during the day and activities and at night use pads as for your face they sell masks that help specifically for breakouts during your periods i used the Avon wash off mask for that time of the month and it worked great i'm not saying use that one it may not be for you but what i mean is there are options,as for not wanting to have kids ever i believe that's a little drastic i said the same and now i have a gorgeous son that i love to death so maybe not now but you could change your mind later. It's a natural bodily function, there's not really a way to change how your body naturally behaves without pills or surgery. I know a lot of girls skip their periods because they do track or swimming every day extensively, but are you active enough for stuff like that forever.? It doesn't even rid you of your period all together, just makes them very off (which can be very scary when you're sexually active).

I'll tell you this though. My birth control only allows for me to have four periods a year, and generally they are shorter with average/heavy flow, so not much different.Health Question & Answer

You sound young and if you are I suggest that you don't take such a drastic step until you're older. You never know if you may change your mind about having children later on in life.
Having bad periods is controllable. Talk to your doctor about options that can make menstrual periods more tolerable.Health Question & Answer

We dont know you or your story so we cant judge you for this. you dont want to take birth control, but that would help your rough periods. and with out any medical reason there is nothing to be done. And one day when you are like 35 or 40 you may want kids and regret doing something now.Health Question & Answer

don't we ALL. and no theres no way to stop your period. Unless you want to become anorexic and lose so much weight that you're body just stops having periods. other then that i really wouldn't recommend it! all us women gotta go through this!Health Question & Answer

Uhm, you might want to rethink that.
That's what I think of...
But don't go through any surgery and stuff.
It's not that bad..
Hah, take menstrual pills for cramps and pains to help get through easier.
