Just know that the first few times your skin will probably get REALLY irritated. Mine did until I guess that area got used to being shaved. Really, it's up to you. I do it for hygienic reasons... I don't feel right without at least being trimmed down there. If you're doing it to keep cleaner, maybe consider trimming it, then you won't have to deal with the skin irritation.Health Question & Answer

Wait till your older.. you can trim it up though.. no harm in that. I personally shave, but it isn't something you can start then wait for a while it is like a daily thing unless you want bumps and ingrown hairs!! Enjoy being you and not having to worry about stuff like that!!
p.s. its kool you can even talk to your mom about that kinda stuff so take her advice! ;)Health Question & Answer

If your mom says no, that's the answer.

I don't and most of my friends don't. Too sensitive an area and who wants one more thing to have to shave.? My husband likes me to have hair.Health Question & Answer

At 13, I don't think so. You will have to do it every day to maintain it and you can get really nasty bumps and a rash that will itch. Just wait til you are older if you even do it thenHealth Question & Answer

Nope don't do it.
Specially if your Mom says no.
