I'm a little worried (girls help please!)?!

Question: I'm a little worried (girls help please!).?
I'm 13, I got my period when i was 11 so i'm pretty used to it now. Anyway my period has always been quite short lasting about 5-6 days but recently it has become heavier and i have unbearable pain! I get cramps bellow my belly button like alot of women but i also get cramps around my back and sharp pain in my pelvic area and nausea with occasional bleeding in between periods. This came on in the last few months and the pain is really bad, my period isn't due for another week and a half but i'm already having pain....any ideas on what it is and what i can do to help.?

Thanks xxxHealth Question & Answer

You need to tell your Dr. It could be endometriosis or something. I too have terrible cramps and my dr told me to start taking ibuprofen a few days before my period is due.Health Question & Answer

I know you are young but I had a friend just recently who had been experiencing the same problems and they had been going on for a while. Every one told her she just had urinary tract infections. After getting a MRI done after passing out from unbearable pain she ended up being diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. You definitely need to see a gynecologist and explain to her the symptoms you are having.Health Question & Answer

Pain around 2 weeks before your period is due is often ovulation pain...its special name is Mittleschmertz...just take whatever you usually use for strong period pain if its that bad...its just a clue that your period is on schedule and you may also notice your mucous has changed colour to clear and sticky instead of creamy, it will go creamy again in a couple of days.Health Question & Answer
