I am looking for some info on gynecological oncology private practices. Like, are they typically near a hospital.? Will they do regular check-ups for people that have never had cancer.? Do they deliver children.? etc etc.

in my experience, gynecological oncologists are usually part of cancer treatment centers, not part of ob-gyn centers. Most women with cancer do not want to be exposed to pregnant women, new moms, etc. And most expectant mothers don't want to have to deal with close proximity to women with cancer. Oncologists specialize in cancer treatment, they do not therefore deliver babies, or do the normal gyn exams that an ob-gyn does.Health Question & Answer
A person who works in gynecological oncology deals with cancer within the female reproductive system. They would be situated near hospitals, and they can also look at women who have never had cancer before as well, although their specialty is in cancer. Generally they will not deliver children, except for women who have a high risk pregnancy due to cancer.

Most doctors working in oncology work in a cancer center, usually located at a medical center or near a hospital. Why don't you start your ob/gyn practice and you can refer your cancer patients to her and she can refer her healed patients to you.
