Question: How to ask to shave your legs.?
I really need to shave! I have swimming next month and am so embarrassed. Please help. And I am 13!Health Question & Answer

Okay... I'm just curious about something.. I see this question a lot on here I'm mom of a 13 year old boy and a stepmom of a 13 year old girl. My stepdaughter had the same problem with her mom and I cannot understand why this is such a big deal for some moms. My child can come to me for ANYTHING and he knows that.
I think it's sad that a young girl is afraid to ask her mother if she can shave. :-(
Sorry I didn't answer your question, but I just wanted to vent a bit. If you were my daughter, I'd take you to the store and buy you a razor. I don't think it's a big deal, we all have to start shaving sooner or later.
I think you should just ask her and if she says "no", remind her when she was a young girl with hairy legs and armpits....

Just use hers if you really don't want to ask
Or when your shopping and walk past them just go - 'OH yeah mum ive got swimming next month so can i get this razer to use because i don't want to get embarrassed'

Buy a razor and with either soap, conditioner, or shaving cream shave up all around your legs.
FYI: If your have any birth marks are moles on your legs that arent completely flat, don't shave over it lol. I know this from experience.Health Question & Answer
