You could have started already and you probably got it so heavy that you got all of the blood out in 2 days, I don't know if that's possible but I would talk to your mum and see a gynecologist right away. It could be something else, menstrual periods are supposed to last no shorter than 4 days. They are supposed to be 4-6 days in length, and you could be underweight so lol you probably don't want to hear this but it will probably mean that you're going to get an irregular menstrual cycle. Sorry for the bad news and I hope this helps.Health Question & Answer

The starting and then not getting it for awhile happens to many girls and is very common. It could be weeks, months, or even years before you get your period again. It could just be the way your body wants to do things or it could be that you don't have much or any body fat. Girls with little to no fat and larger muscles may stop having their period altogether. For example gymnasts do not have their periods until they stop doing gymnastics for awhile and gain some body fat. You're probably just normal though. Give it time. Good Luck!Health Question & Answer

how strange of your mum to say that.

it will take awhile for you to get your period every 28-30 days. i can't say for sure when you'll get it again. maybe 1 or 2 months. It takes a few years for you to get it every month. being irregular is very common for girls that have just started their period. sometimes going on the pill will regulate your cycle, but i think you should just wait it out.Health Question & Answer

yea hey...im 14 and i got my first period in december 08, then i got it regularly for like 6 days for three months, then it went away and hasnt come back. its been 8 months and im a little nervous about when im gunna get it again and why i havent gotten it...i guess it could be because i lost like 10 lbs. in the beginning of the summer but idk...im guessing this is normal, but 8 months.?.? going on 9.?

please help...Health Question & Answer

Dont worry you're young and your periods will be very irregular. It should settle down within a few years. Sometimes your periods stop if you loose a lot of weight quickly, but if that's not the case then there's nothing you should worry about. Everyone has their own body clock.
