From what I gather, most girls wear short skirts to get the attention of men, one way or another. Gaining their attention makes them feel good about themselves, makes them feel sexy.
Anyways, its all good if a decent guy stares at them in a nice way, and not often. Girls complain about weird guys who just keep staring at them. Girls say that these guys should mind their own business and not look at them sexually, because the way they're dressed is nothing to do with them.
Isn't this hypocritical.? I thought the very reason girls dressed up in short skirts was to show themselves off, and gain attention. Im sorry, but you cant have it both ways. You cannot control the type of guys coming towards you, because guys have hormones. If you cant handle the attention of these weirdos, dont wear short skirts; and stop complaining. Because you cant change the anatomy of all men. Im a guy, and I personally feel more attracted to intelligent girls not showing themselves off. I also respect them and care about them more, and im sure all guys would respect such women more. A guy will most likely develop a fetish for women in short skirts, and if they're going out; he might screw her over. Because I feel girls who dress trashy are asking for it, as they are shallower than other intelligent girls out there. I agree, you would have to be an idiot to think you aren't going to get looks, especially creepy ones from old scary weirdos, if you dress a little trashy. You would have to know nothing about men, of course they are going to look at you. Though i don't think dressing like a slut justifies rape or any mistreatment of women EVER! I do agree that women who dress that way do usually do it for the attention and should expect it.

When you wear a short skirt you expect the odd guy to look but to be honest it's pretty disgusting and amusing as hell when you walk down the street and their jaws almost drop. Their so un suttle and open about it. You aren't in women's heads. They may be wearing short skirts to get the attention of men, or it may simply make them feel sexy, or they might want to fit in with their friends, or they might just like the way it feels.
The way a woman dresses is not necessarily about how men will view them, and to assume so is rather sexist.
It is not hypocritical. Men can perfectly well control their urges; it's a widely perpetuated myth that they cannot. A penis does not entitle you to sexual rampantry.
What is contradictory is your response to the short skirts. First you say that women can't expect men not to stare, because they are enjoying the sight. If you like what you are seeing, why do you shun the behaviour and prefer girls who won't give you a view.? Why don't you respect women who do this, and instead prefer women who don't.?
