Question: How long is your menstrual cycle.?
From date of first period to the date of your next period...and how long your period lasts.
My cycle is kinda long and I was wondering if that was bad if I am trying to conceive. It is regular though.

Yours sounds to be within the normal range, however everyone's cycle is different.
My periods used to be every 24 days and would last 7-8 days (the 8th day only being spotting mostly).
Then when I went on the pill last year my periods came every 28 days and lasted 6-7 days.
I went off the pill at the beginning of September this year and I'm still trying to figure out what it's going to be like this time because from the time I stopped my pill until I got my first period off the pill it was 29 days and then this month, my period lasted 7 days and it was 21 days from my last period.

Since this is the normal time frame for you, then this is normal...for YOU. Not everyone is going to have a 28 day cycle. And the National Board of Gynecology & Obstetrics considers a woman's cycle to be normal if it is more than 24 days and less than 40 and doesn't vary more than a few days either way.
Mine on the other hand was very random; I could NEVER count on when I'd get my period (bleed 2 weeks, be done for 10 days, bleed 3 days, be done for 14 days, bleed 10 days, etc, etc) It sucked. I eventually ended up getting a hysterectomy because as I got older I was even bleeding through birth control pills!Health Question & Answer
