Answers:
It's completely normal to be irregular with your periods when you first hit puberty. I got my period for the first time when I was 10, and it was only a few months later when I got it for the second time.

Your periods will likely become more regular in the next year or two. Right now, your body is still adapting to all of the changes that are going on inside it.

Don't worry!

Health Question & Answer

It's just irregular.

I got my first period when I was 11, I am 17 now. My period has ALWAYS been IRREGULAR! In fact, it stopped last year...I haven't had it since and I'll never get it again. I found out it was dangerous to my uterus so I am now on medicines to protect my uterus.

It's not normal to have an irregular period! It needs to be taken care of! Mine was never taken care of and it led to a lot of problems, I don't think you want to go through that. Please see your doctor, or talk to your guardian about seeing a gynecologist. You can never be too young to see a gynecologist, especially if it's important.

*P.S. - Gynecologist will give you medicine (birth control) to regulate your period (not for sex, for your period).Health Question & Answer
