Ever suffer with Kidney Stone Pain?!

Question: Ever suffer with Kidney Stone Pain.?
How did you feel during the passing of the stone.? I have been in extreme pain for about 5 days now. Cant get to see my Dr until Wednesday. Its just not starting to move down from below my ribs to about an inch above pubic bone. It feels like a thorn is ripping my insides!!!!. Anyone know if this is the worst of it or if there is even more pain to come.?
Im just curious as to what others felt like when they had stones

Btw Ive asked this in 2 other Categories just to see what other people went through...trying to pass some time Health Question & Answer

My partner has suffered three bouts of renal colic and it isn't something you should be dealing with at home. The pain of renal stones is recognised as one of the worst types of pain there is (in fact worse than labour pain) but is treatable with good analgesia (pain relief is usually narcotics).

The risk of infection is high and needs to be ruled out early on. If this is your first time with possible stone/s are you sure this is in fact what the problem is eg: has it been diagnosed.? If it is the first time you need to see someone more urgently to diagnose the problem and to get effective pain relief. If you have a fever you must get help immediately.

Once the stone passes into the bladder the pain will stop and then when it is passed through the urethra it should be caught to be sent away for analysis. This can be difficult but is worthwhile. Please seek help earlier rather than later and keep your fluids up. Hope you get better soon :)Health Question & Answer

yes i have and it really hurts. i had to go to the hosptail with mine because of the exterme pain. and i was hook on morphime for about 2 hours until the stone came out. i had to drink plenty of water. and when i start getting pain i usually take painkillers to get rid of the painHealth Question & Answer

The pain is called colic pain. It is rumored that this pain rivals the degree of the pain experienced in giving birth. This is probably the worst it could get... when it gets closer to the bladder.

When the stone is removed, everything will be as it once was.. you'll be OK.Health Question & Answer
