aw its okies hun. the best thing to do is have a little look at the ones for sale and pick a smaller one which might be more comfortable
obviously, if you have quite a heavy period then make sure you check to see whether it will obsorb correctly. take a look at the link below.

I Know How You Feel, Its Very Upsetting To Be Scared To Use Tampons. I Had The Same Problem. You Can Get Specially Made Tampons that Are Designed For Teenagers And Beginnners. That Makes A Big Difference. It Only Hurts IF you insert The Tampon Incorrectly. Look Around Your Local Pharmacy And See What They Have. Ask Your Mum Or Friend Or Someone Who Can Help And Give You Advice .As for the tampon, if it has an applicator, the part you insert is the part where the tampon comes out. It'll be larger than the plunger. Insert the applicator (with the tampon still inside) until it goes in where the plunger begins. Push the plunger and you have now inserted your tampon. If it does not have an applicator, you gotta use your finger in the same sense.
Wait 2-3 hours before removing it so it can do it's job. Make sure you remove it every 4-6 hours for sure. good luck

ok read the instructions on the inside of the box. dont worry.. unlike what everyone thinks it doesnt hurt. start with slender pearl tampons. you know the ones with the plastic applicator. its so much easier than the cardboard ones. those hurt just a little. if you mean how to put it in.. its pretty simple. just put your foot up on the toilet or spread your legs. put one finger on the tip and follow the directions in the box. its pretty detailed. Wow. This is so creepy. Im 12 & I just started May of last year! Pads are so gross. I hate them. I want to use a tampon really bad. & I don't want to ask my mom how to. Im so scared.
