Almost 15 and not started periods?!

Question: Almost 15 and not started periods.?
Basically, I am 15 early next year, and I am [only just!] starting to worry about not starting my periods.

I have had the white-ish discharge for I don't know how long, but a pretty long time. Probably about 8 months or something now. My boobs are AA/A.

My mum started when she was 15, but my grandma started when she was 11, so it's a bit confusing..!

Anyway, I have a pretty healthy diet, but it's only recently that I've started to drink more than 3 cups of water a day and have vitamin pills.
I some but not regular exercise, but I'm not overweight - i'm 7 stone 3, and about 5 feet tall. My BMI is 19.5 (which is between 18.5 and 24.9, so it's an 'ideal weight for my height').

It's just today I am starting to wonder if I need to see a doctor or something, or will my periods start soon and I'm worrying for no reason.?
Thank you, whoever answers (:Health Question & Answer

The age that you should start getting worried is 16 as that is seen as the optimum age of starting periods. But don't worry! If you are worrying just go and see your doctor and if in doubt they may put you on growth hormones which will try and initiate the whole experience.

Don't worry about it!

It will be ok :)Health Question & Answer

dont worry, some people dont get it till their 18!Health Question & Answer

You don't need to worry about a thing. My friend's mom started when she was 16. And there are girls who have started even up to age 18. As long as you're a healthy girl, your period will come when your body is ready. For me, I was only a month into being 11yrs old. I remember the night before I was worrying about it. I said to my mom, "What if I never start my period.?" The next day at school, I started! Really freaky coincidence. But as for you, you just need to keep on waiting. It'll come before you know it. I think you should start enjoying your time without one anyway because believe me -- they're no picnic.Health Question & Answer
