Can anyone please help me with this? I Stopped taking birth control and I have crazy symptoms .?!

I stopped the pill in early October and had my period the day after I stopped. Previous to that, I had been on the pill non-stop for five years. Since I stopped, I have been feeling pretty strange. I'm nauseous a lot, very tired, very irritable, my breasts have been super sore all month and I think they are growing, and this is the strangest one: food, and especially water, taste and smell noticeably different. In fact, my sense of smell is has gotten stronger in general. There is only a slight possibility that I may be pregnant. My husband left for military training the day before I stopped my birth control. Two days before he left, I had accidentally skipped a pill. I took two the next day. This was the first time I had ever been late with taking my pill and that's the only time I think I could have conceived, but I think it's highly unlikely that I did. I took two pregnancy tests which were negative, but I think it was too early to test. Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if my symptoms are typical of someone stopping the pill. I will make an appointment with a doctor, but my insurance doesn't kick in until Monday. Thanks!Health Question & Answer
